Circular regarding Uttarayan Holidays

Dear Parents,

Greetings from PIS, Vadodara!

1.     The holiday of 13/01/18 Saturday has been swapped. Instead of holidays on 13/01/18 and 14/01/18  now school will remain closed on 14/01/18 and 15/01/18. Please note 13/01/18 Saturday will be working day as per regular Saturday school timing.

2.     We have planned to celebrate kite festival on "Uttrayan/Makarsankranti" in a traditional way by letting the kites soar high in sky! Request you to send  a medium size paper kite and one small roll of normal thread /kacha dhaga (materials that are safe for children, birds and environment will only be allowed) with your ward on 13^th January’18 (Saturday). Pakka dhaga/ glass thread  will be confiscated  if brought to the school. Please co-operate with us by sensitizing our children towards “Safe Uttrayan”.
